The baby room is in a terrapin like building, it has a very homely feel and we can care for babies aged between 2 months to 18 months. The staff ratio is one adult to every three children.

The staff have a flexible routine and try as much as possible to go by each child's individual needs whilst preparing them mentally and physically to move to the next room. The baby room has its own sleep area which is monitored at all times, where each child has their own cot including sheets and blankets.

The staff plan a variety of activities including all types of painting, sensory and physical play. The activities set out each day help in all areas of the children's development and support them to learn and meet their milestones through play, ranging from books, rattles, Duplo, baby gym, and treasure baskets.

There is a messy play area where messy activities and art & craft can take place. Meals are prepared in a separate kitchen area.

At mealtimes we have low chairs, so they are able to sit and enjoy their food with their friends and staff sit with them to support them with feeding, we also have highchairs available of required. All bottles are provided by the parents and clearly marked with the child's name, we provide the desired formula milk and make the bottles up fresh in the baby room, we also have the facilities to sterilise the bottles in the kitchen.

At the end of your child's day the staff in the room will give you verbal feedback regarding your child's day including meals, sleeps and nappies. The staff are always happy to discuss with you how your child has been throughout the day and any queries you may have.
